کسی نے بجلی کے تار سے کرنٹ مار دیا ہو اسے۔
"کیا وہ کچھو کما؟" اس نے پلیٹ پرے کھسکائی اور برا سا
منہ بنا کر ان کی جانب دیکھنے لگی۔
"ہون پاوے او کچھو کما ہووے یا زہریلا ناگ ویاہ تے پتر اودے
نال ہی کرنا پے گا تیرے پیو نے ہاں کا ٹیلی فون کھڑکا دیا شریکوں کو۔" وہ تو
ایسے جیسے دن رات کانٹوں پر لوٹ رہی تھیں جن لوگوں نے ساری عمر اسے جوتے کی نوک پر
رکھا تھا وہ اب ان کے سر پر چڑھ کر ناچنے لگے تھے۔
"نہیں نہیں امی! اس کا وجود تو مجھ سے کلاس میں دو منٹ
برداشت نہیں ہوتا پوری زندگی کیسے برداشت کروں گی میں اس کو۔" اس کا ناشتہ
حرام ہو چکا تھام نغمہ بیگم نے مزے سے پلیٹ اپنے سامنے کھسکائی اور چھوٹے چھوٹے
نوالے توڑ کر کھانے لگیں۔
"رات تو میرا خیال اسی مقصد سے آئی تھی میں مگر آپ تو اپنے پیو
کی محبتوں کا بخار چڑھا ہوا سی ہون آرام نال پورا کورس کرو او وی اوس چڑیا کار چے
جا کے مجھے تو یہ سمجھ نہیں آرہی وہ تمہیں اور مکرم کو کمرہ کونسا دیں گے میرا خیال
ہے امی ابو باہر شفٹ ہو کے کمرہ بہو بیٹے کو دے دیں گے کیونکہ جگہ تو ہے کوئی نہیں
وہاں۔" انہوں نے تالی مارتے ہوئے ہنس کر کہا تو حائزہ نے رونی صورت بنا کر ان
کی جانب دیکھا۔

"اوے تو کب سے لڑکیوں پر تبصرے کرنے لگا ساڈے ویسے تو سارے
منڈے ہی شرم دے کجے ہیں پھر تو نے کہاں لڑکی کا ایکسرے کر لیا؟" عالیہ بیگم
اب ہنستے ہوئے دلچسپی سے اس کے پاس ہی چارپائی پر ٹک گئی تھیں البتہ زرینہ بیگم
اندر ظہر کی نماز پڑھنے میں مشغول تھیں۔
"اس کبوتری کا ایکسرے کرتی ہے میری جوتی نہ توجہ حاصل کرنے
والی حرکتیں کرے تو نہ دیکھے بندہ۔۔" اس نے سر کے نیچے بازو رکھتے ہوئے کہا
تو عالیہ بیگم بھنویں اچکا گئیں۔
"کیا کیا ہے اس بیچاری نے جو تو ہاتھ دھو کر اس کے پیچھے پڑ
گیا ہے۔" عالیہ بیگم کو تو خاصا تجسس ہو رہا تھا کہ آخر ایسی کونسی لڑکی ہے
جس نے مکرم احمد کو اتنا غصہ دلا دیا کہ وہ نتھے پھلا کر گھر تک آیا ہے ورنہ وہ تو
ہمیشہ ہی خوشگوار موڈ میں گھر آتا تھا۔
"ایویں کلاس میں پھدک پھدک کر سارے سوالوں کے جواب دے دیتی
ہے بھلا کسی نے تم سے پوچھا ہے جو تم اتنی چالاک بن کر کسی کے بھی بولنے سے پہلے
فٹ بول دیتی ہو۔" وہ اٹھ کر بیٹھتے ہوئے گویا ہوا تو عالیہ بیگم تالی مار کر
ہنس دی۔
"جا اے مکرم! بس اتنا ہی ظرف ہے تجھ میں کسی لڑکی کو آگے
بڑھتے دیکھا نہیں اور یہ غیرت جاگ گئی عام لفظوں میں مردانگی جاگ گئی پتر! دل نوں
وڈا کرنا سکھو کسی دی کامیابی نوں دلوں قبول کرنا سیکھو اے کی ہویا کہ کسی نوں
اپنے تو اگے ود دے ویکھیا نہیں تے غصہ عود آیا( بیٹا دل کو بڑا کرنا سیکھو کسی کی
کامیابی کو دل سے قبول کرنا سیکھو یہ کیا ہوا کہ کسی کو خود سے آگے بڑھتے دیکھا نہیں
اور غصہ عود آیا)" عالیہ بیگم کا لہجہ نرم تھا مگر انداز اسے سمجھانے والا تو
وہ کچھ دیر تو خاموشی سے بیٹھا سنتا رہا پھر بھوک لگی کھانا دے دیں کہہ کر اندر کی
جانب بڑھ گیا۔ شاید وہ اب اس بارے میں سوچنا چاہتا تھا۔
