Musahf is very famous Urdu novel written by today’s most popular writer Nimra Ahmed. It was published in monthly Khawateen Digest March 2011 to August 2011. Nimra Ahmed wrote many famous novels in different Pakistani digest. Jannat ke pattey, ParasPahari ka qaidiQaraqarum ka taj mehalNimal are her most famous and popular novels. Mushaf is one of the inspirational pieces of writing in its Islamic perspective. It covers all about the issues in our recent society like behavior of relatives towards a female which she have to face in the absence of the father or guardian such as issues in the matter of inheritance and what Islam say about this all how to deal with. It briefly described halal and haram relationship in very interesting way. It is beautifully described that how a true Muslim should behave in the time of pain and sorrow coding the words of our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (blessing n peace of Allah SWT be upon him). It describes the behavior of a true Muslim in the time of peace n happiness that he must forgive all the painful attitudes of relatives meanwhile it shows the importance of Holy Qur'an that how to make it a part and implement its teachings in our daily life beside this all it is beautifully described that when we leave this holy book it leaves them. Qur'an doesn't open its beauties n mysteries towards them whose inner is impure such as lying, backbiting, jalousie it also described that to be patient during the ailments and to be strengthen in the belief towards Allah SWT that it all from Him (the creator) and all our hope are towards Him only for the early readers it must be considered as master piece of writing.


SUMMARY OF THE NOVEL

Mushaf is one the inspirational piece of writing in its Islamic perspective it cover all about the issues in our recent society like behavior of relatives towards a female which she have to face in the absence of the father or guardian such as issues in the matter of inheritance and what Islam say about this all how to deal with. Mehmil Ibrahim a college girl is the leading role of the novel who is the only child of her parents’ and after the death of her father her uncles shifted in her house with the intention of possession. Gradually she and her mother's position turns like a maid which her mother accepted but she don't and she thinks if she could change her condition back. She met a black girl on bus stop, who told her mysteriously about a book in which her past, present and future is described so she became surprise and took that book from her which is Mushaf. It was her introduction to the Holy Quran and she became angry as she was thinking it’s a book of magic to change her condition. Then her cousin fawad swaps her to Hamaiyon but he was a police officer and already waiting for a witness to arrest him but she abscond and jump into the masjid where she met Farishte who is the cousin of Hamaiyun. Hamaiyun took her to his home and arrest Fawad. Farishte asked her to learn Quran and she joins and then she knows the solution of all her problems. Afterwards her mother died and it is beautifully described that how a true Muslim should behave in the time of pain and sorrow coding the words of our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (blessing and peace of Allah SWT be upon him). Mehmil give dawah (tableegh) to his next door neighbour who is retired from army and says him that it's ammanah. It describes the behavior of a true Muslim in the time of peace and happiness that he must forgive all the painful attitudes of relatives. After the death she somehow came to know that farishtey is her sister and she is trying to take their property from her uncle for both of them meanwhile it shows the importance of Holy Qur'an that how to make it a part and implement its teachings in our daily life. She told farishtey that she is in live with hamaiyun and don’t know that farishtey love him too and they are already engaged since childhood. But farishtey sacrifice for her sister and Hamaiyun and step aside. After the death of her mother her uncle pressurizes her to marry with his son who is characterless as the will of her mother. On the spot her sister Farishtey reached there with Hamaiyon and told her that there must be witness about the will of her mother so they both left their all belongings and property. Mehmil marry with humaiyon and farishte migrated. She got a baby boy named Taimoor. One morning she got an accident and got paralyzed for 7 years. Farishtey come back and take care of her but she divagates and can't resist her felling for humaiyum and create some misunderstanding that Mehmil has an affair with his cousin Fawad. This is the point when Farishtey loses her faith. Qur'an doesn't open its beauties and mysteries towards them whose inner is impure such as lying, backbiting, and jalousie. Her son behave her very rudely she became disheartened and asked for the help from Allah SWT and rebuild her relationship with the holy Quran. It also described that to be patient during the ailments and to be strengthening in the belief towards Allah SWT that it all from Him (the creator) and all our hope are towards Him only. Hamaiyun divorced her to marry with Farishtey. Mehmil reads a few ayats from Holy Quran to open her eyes then farishtey clear all the misunderstandings and Hamaiyun want to turn back toward her but she refuse him. She came to know that her uncle is now on bed she forgives him brought with her and take care of him. Taimoor is an intelligent and caring boy. She brought him up in such a wonderful Islamic perspective and he arises as an international scholar. For the early readers it must be considered as master piece.
